After our time at Rockefeller Center – it’s time to bus southward through Mid-Town Manhattan toward Battery Park. Zora – our cordial tour guide with her Brooklyn accent – had plenty of NYC stories to share.
From Battery Park – the Statue of Liberty lies straight ahead.
Our final stop for the day is Ground Zero and the beautiful reflection pools that pay homage to those who died on September 11, 2001.
Rising high above the memorial is the new One World Trade Center.
