This page also includes eight photographs – ranging from one of Issac Wetherby’s earliest photographs of the capitol (circa 1853/1854) to one of Fred Kent’s classics from the 1970’s.

Page D6 – Here’s an article that offers a brief overview of Old Capitol, from its beginnings as a Territorial Capitol Building in the 1840’s, to its transition from being a state capitol to becoming SUI’s Central Hall (1860’s-1880s), until its rehabilitation into University offices in the 1920’s.
