Page D3 – An Introduction to Old Capitol by Iowa City Press-Citizen Editor Mark F. Rohner. On Saturday, July 3, 1976, Old Capitol – which had just undergone a four-year restoration project – will re-open to the public and be re-dedicated in a special ceremony.
