Back in April 2022, Iowa Hawkeye women’s basketball star Caitlin Clark made her first appearance at the Coralville Community Food Pantry, helping to raise awareness (and much-needed funds) for this worthy endeavor. Clark repeated her performance in April 2023, prior to her record-shattering senior year at Iowa, and CCFP continues to be one of the non-profits she continues to support today. Read more here. In April 2024, Hawkeye WBB stars Taylor McCabe and Sydney Affolter appeared at CCFP, continuing the annual tradition. Now, on April 7, 2025, first-year Hawkeye head coach Jan Jensen, and the former Hawkeye WBB star Kate Martin made their first appearance, and from all we hear and see, their visit was a rousing success! Below, we share an article written by The Daily Iowan reporter Emma Jane, along with some pictures from the day! Enjoy!

Kudos to John Boller, CCFP Executive Director, and the amazing staff of the Coralville Community Food Pantry!

Yup, a few other Bollers were there that day to enjoy the excitement!

The final report: Thanks to Coach Jensen & Kate Martin, the $20,000 goal was not only met, but exceeded by an additional $4,000! THANK YOU!
