The sad news came in today. Burt Bacharach – one of my musical icons – died at age 94 on Wednesday, February 8, 2023. Back when I was a senior in the School of Music at the University of Iowa – as part of my senior recital – I arranged for the UI Jazz Band this salute I call my Bacharach Suite. This one’s for you, Burt! Enjoy!
